Discus Information Links

I have purchased discus from a few people on the internet, but right now, only Alberto Barboza (Aquatechnics) and Al Johnson (Rockymountain Discus) are still in business. I've met a few breeders and importers (visited a few of their hatcheries) and all of them have been nice: Peter Thode, Cary Strong, Jack Wattley, Marc Weiss, Tim Thimios, HansKoops van't Jagt, Eric Lacroix, Joe Szelesi, David Webber, Chang Pei-Chi/ Weng Jui-Hui in Taipei, Wayne Ng in Hong Kong, and these Singaporean breeders: Chai Koon Seng, Mike Teh, Roy Khoo, Ivan Seah, Peter Choo, and Lee Tong Juan.  I've also know Bing Seto and Samson Chung, but only through email. I'd recommend that you make a visit to a discus breeder, hand pick which fish you like, and you can learn more about how they keeps these fish. Many breeders (both professional and hobbyist) are on the internet mailing lists and forums. Please note that a handful of the websites belong to breeders/importers who are no longer in business or taking a break from the discus business, but their nice websites are still running and I still have them listed for that reason.
