Welcome to Australian Arowanas.Thanks for visiting. I  guess if your reading this, then you must be a bit of a fish fanatic, you have an arowana or you're really interested in them. This page has come about because I have searched far and wide for information on Australian arowanas (Saratoga) with very little success (years ago). But as I have found; the term "saratoga" is mainly used here in Australia. Some other sites do contain a little bit of info, but this site is dedicated to them as I live in Australia and own both a jardini and leichardti. Since I don't own an Asian arowana (yet) I thought the next best thing would be to own a close relative. They are certainly a great pet and are by no means difficult to keep. Information found on this page comes from a wide source including books, other aquarists  (both here and overseas) and of course my own experiences. Hope you find this page  helpful !!!
