A bright purple dot in your tank, definitely an eye catcher. These and the closely related Basslets are a popular reef fish. They are small, so should be kept with non aggressive, so semi aggressive fish. Care for these species is not specific. They are reef safe, and well adaptable to other fish species. Only one should be kept in a tank. May show little interest in similar sized, shaped, or colored fish.
